What is Cloudflare AI Gateway?
Cloudflare AI Gateway is a developer-facing proxy for AI applications that routes requests to providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Workers AI, and others through a single gateway. It adds observability with analytics and logging for requests, tokens, costs, and errors, and controls scaling with caching, rate limiting, spend limits, request retries, and model fallbacks. Security features include guardrails, data loss prevention scanning, authentication, and encrypted key storage. It is intended for teams building or operating AI apps that need cost, reliability, and usage visibility without changing provider APIs. How to use Cloudflare AI Gateway

Sign up or log in to the Cloudflare dashboard to access AI Gateway.

Set up an AI Gateway instance in the dashboard; no domain needs to be added to Cloudflare.
