AI Agent Builders Tools

PRODUCT OVERVIEW
Claude Developer Platform is Anthropic's developer console and API surface for building applications with Claude models. Through the Messages API, developers get direct model access and construct each conversational turn, while Managed Agents provide fully managed agent infrastructure with stateful sessions and persistent event history. The platform documents tool use, web search, code execution, vision, structured outputs, prompt caching, streaming, batch processing, and token counting, and offers official client SDKs for Python, TypeScript, C#, Go, Java, PHP, and Ruby. It targets developers and teams integrating Claude into production software, with access also available through Amazon Bedrock, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Foundry. Access requires a Claude Console account and an API key.
Sign in to the Claude Console at platform.claude.com using Google, email, or SSO.
Create an API key on the Console API keys page and choose its type and expiration.
Install an official client SDK, export ANTHROPIC_API_KEY, and send a request to the Messages API.
Use the Console playground to experiment with the API in the browser before generating keys.
