Yes. As of February 2026, Lexis+ AI has been renamed Lexis+ with Protégé, reflecting expanded AI-powered drafting, research, and analysis workflows. Users of Lexis+ AI now have access to Lexis+ with Protégé.

Lexis+ with Protégé is the legal drafting, research, and analysis AI solution, while Protégé is the AI assistant built into that platform. Protégé powers drafting, conversational research, summarization, analysis, and workflow automation.

Responses are based on LexisNexis primary law, exclusive secondary sources, and Practical Guidance. Shepard's Verify and Citation Service can validate citations for status and treatment.

Users can store documents in encrypted Vaults and use them as the source for tasks such as generating timelines, finding citations, analyzing counterarguments, or drafting. You can create up to 50 Vaults with 1–500 documents each.

Uploads of up to 10 documents that are not saved to a Vault are automatically purged at the end of each session. Uploading 11 or more documents prompts you to create a Vault.

Protégé Legal AI blends multiple LLMs optimized for legal accuracy and grounds responses in LexisNexis sources with Shepard's citations. Protégé General AI provides access to models from OpenAI, Google, and Anthropic.

Protégé is included within supported LexisNexis solutions and is not available as a standalone product. Pricing is customized based on organization size, practice needs, and subscription requirements, so you need to contact LexisNexis for details.

According to LexisNexis, customer data is not used to train public AI models or to enhance AI performance for other customers. Personalization features are controlled by the user.
