PartyRock is an AI fluency tool from AWS, described as an Amazon Bedrock playground. Educators host sessions and assign structured challenges, while learners work in natural language instead of code. Learners build AI generation templates called Flows, analyze datasets and generate charts, create images from prompts, and prototype apps that produce buildable specs. Agent challenges have learners reason over data and present reports. Hosts compose challenges, share an event code and link, and review or download submissions from a dashboard. Learners join through ephemeral per-event accounts without sign-ups, and participant data is removed about 30 days after an event ends. PartyRock provides free daily LLM credit grants for educators and learners, with no licenses or subscriptions, and runs in a web browser in multiple languages.
How to use PartyRock
1
Sign up as an educator
Visit partyrock.aws/education and sign up as an educator. Some educator features unlock after account verification, which is typically reviewed within a few business days.
2
Compose an event and challenges
Create an event, set its title, description and dates, and preview the challenges participants will see. Choose from app, agent, and flow challenge formats.
3
Invite participants
Start the event, then share the event code and link. Participants join with one click through temporary per-event accounts and begin building.
4
Build with AI
Learners open a challenge and use the matching builder: a Flow generation template, a data analysis workspace, or an app prototype. Work saves automatically in the same browser and device.
5
Submit and review
Learners add a description, attach files, and submit. Organizers review submissions in real time or download all submissions for a challenge to review offline.

Credits are consumed when you generate text or images, and different models use credits at different rates. Your daily allowance resets each day, and each user consumes their own credits when using a Flow.
PartyRock offers app challenges for product thinking and prototyping, agent challenges for dataset analysis and reporting, and flow challenges for building AI generation templates.
You upload a dataset such as a CSV, ask questions in everyday language, and PartyRock translates them into SQL queries run against DuckDB, then explains the results conversationally.
Participant submissions are automatically deleted about 30 days after an event's end date. Organizers can download submissions before the event ends to keep a record.
