What is Claude?

Claude is Anthropic's AI assistant, available on web, desktop, and mobile. It supports conversation, web search, file creation, and running code, and it keeps memory across conversations so context carries forward. Users can connect apps and tools, and on paid plans hand off tasks to receive finished documents, slides, sheets, and designs. Paid tiers also add Projects, more Claude models, Claude Code, Claude Science, and extensions such as Claude in Chrome and Microsoft 365. How to use Claude
