Runway FAQs
Credits are spent to generate images, video and audio, with each model using a set number depending on model, duration and resolution. Paid plans include a monthly allotment, and the Free plan includes a one-time 125 credits.
On Standard and Pro, monthly credits reset each billing cycle and do not roll over. Max allows up to one month of unused credits to roll over, and additional purchased credits never expire.
Yes. Additional credits can be purchased from the Plans & Billing page, with a minimum purchase of 1,000 credits.
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated, with additional credits received right away. Downgrades apply the unused balance as a credit toward the next billing cycle while the current plan stays active.
Team is for groups of two to nine people and includes everything in Max plus shared projects, a pooled credit balance, frame-accurate commenting, shared agent skills and Agent Connectors. Each seat adds 6,900 credits per month.
